Beyond the toxification of the land and water, when cooling one place you heat another, if you make more water fall in one location, naturally less will fall in another. This is a good way to create floods and drought at the same time.

When the snow cover is top to bottom this is the best run in Australia for carving your turns. About a 4.2km (2.6 mile) groomed run with 600m (2,000ft) of vertical from Eagle's Nest to the village. Early morning is almost always best as (except on very cold days) it tends to soften at lot at the mid-lower elevations during the afternoon. The longer run from the top of Karels is a bit troublesome as it requires you to catch 2 additional T-bars after you reach the top of the high speed quad-chair at Eagle's nest for only an extra 100m (300ft) of vertical.

This may be a dumb question.but its a genuine question.. would this possibly help in the poles?? Creating more snow for the polar bears?? Just wondering. I know its temporary, and I know its a huge area but it's the 1 place that could probably benefit the most from weather change without damaging the eco system...

Yeah 3 years ago that comment was made so 2020 would have been awesome snow but 2023 brings No snow at all. We are end of July the last snow you got was after the 10 of June 4 days of solid snow fall and none since then. The guns aren't going to cut the mustard 😅

I was on the first professional snowmaking team in Australia in 1987 at Thredbo hired after teaching Werner, & the Ians in Snowshoe, West Virginia, USA - We created consistent top to bottom skiing for almost the entire season for the first time ever - A fantastic experience
